Ironclad Mining are a local mining equipment company based in the Hunter Valley. They had piece of machinery that they had customised and wished to sell the equipment design. They approached us to see if we could assist them in coming up with a visualisation solution to help them communicate their custom design to potential clients.

We decided that the best solution for them was a simulator that allowed their clients to see their machine in action and see how their design would benefit the machine and its operators.

The end result was application that could be easily viewed over on either PC or mac, or could even be expanded for use on ipad or tablet. This Application placed the user in the “drivers seat” allowing them to see and experience the equipment as the operator would in reality when down in an underground mine. The application also allowed the user the option of viewing the equipment from a top-down view, so that they could easily see the equipment from an external perspective.
